Portugal have announced their squad for this summers World Cup 2026 in North America. There were not many surprises unless you count that the squad announced 27 players, although you can only register 26 for the competition as four keepers will be making the trip. Portugal will start the competition June 17 against Congo in Houston, USA then Uzbekistan on June 23 also in Houston before travelling to Miami, USA and facing Colombia on June 27. Portugal still have a pair of final tune up games before heading to the tournament as they face Chile on June 6 and Nigeria on June 10 with both friendlies taking place in Portugal at Oeiras and Leiria. Roberto Martinez will hope he has found the right formula of players, we will soon find out.
